WEB 3.0 AND THE FORESEEN EVOLUTION!

How will Web 3.0 change the internet?

If you have been very conversant with the internet, you must have seen a bunch of things about Web 3.0 and thought “what the hell is this about?”

Let’s take a look at what Web 3.0 is really about and how it will impact technology in a few years from now.

A Thread Of Things You Should Know To Understand Web 3.0

It was the first stage of the internet. The first page went live in 1991 by Tim Bernes Lee to share information.

• It was slow and static
• Users were consumers
• Limited interaction

This is the second and present stage of the internet, it went live in 2004.

• It is faster and more reliable
• It enhances industrious participation in sharing and generating data and information.
• It is more interactive.

• Centralization.
• Users are mainl products
• Lack of privacy

• Decentralization
• Freedom
• Anonymity.

Now, let's take a look at the future, WEB 3.0 and how it will solve these problems.

This is the third generation of the world wide web, it is faster and better than the Web 2.0.

It would guarantee decentralization because companies would run by a decentralized group called a DAO.

DAO means Decentralized Autonomous Organization, and we would extensively explain it in another post!

WHY ARE WE TRANSITIONING INTO WEB 3.0?”

Professionals have said that the Decentralized Web would guarantee safety and anonymity.

In web 1.0 we were chronic consumers, in Web 2.0 we are the products. However, it is believed that in Web 3.0, we would be OWNERS of our data.

We would have total control, freedom and anonymity.

1. Siri
2. Wolfram Alpha
3. Metamask

• Web 3.0 is the third stage of the world wide web.
• Web 3.0 would give more control to users.
• Web 3.0 would be decentralized.
• The transition would happen slowly and steadily.

CONCLUSION: Web 3.0 is the future of the internet and as predicted, users would own their data and control it.

Decentralization would guarantee the safety of our data and it would no longer be sold to companies for targeted advertising.

Web 3.0 is here to stay!!
